Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars Installation - 2014 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today on our 2014 Jeep Patriot, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Thule WingBar Evo roof rack system. The Thule WingBar Evo roof rack system is going to allow us to carry roof mount accessories on our Jeep Patriot, things like bike racks, kayak carriers, roof mounted cargo boxes, and much more. Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2016 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today on our 2016 Jeep Patriot, we're doing a test fit of the rhino rack vortex aero crossbars. Our part number for our crossbar here is rrva118b-2, for our foot pack that we're using it's rrsx001. Now we already have our front bar mounted up and secured, we're going to show you how we put on our last foot pack here, and then show you how we load up our bar since it is the same way. We'll start by taking our foot pack. If it's closed like this, you want to open it all the way. We're just going to fit it so that everything lines up and fits into our channel here. more

Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2015 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today on our 2015 Jeep Patriot, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack system. For the foot packs themselves, we're using part number RRSX001 and for the factory fit style width bars we're going to use the RRVA118S-2. These are also available in black as part number RRVA118B-2. Now these are going to be the narrower of the bars that we can use, these are 44 inch. We can go up to the 49 inch or also the 54 inch with these, you can check those out on our website if you choose to go a little wider than what we have today. The longer ones, the ones that are listed, I think they're up to 60 inches, those are a little bit too big. They couldn't quite work for us. Now to begin our test fit, let me show you how the foot pack goes in, it's a real simple setup, we just pull the black cap out of the end here and you'll see there's two squares there and then a smaller kind of a rounded top, I think it's got a square at the bottom of it there. more

Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2010 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today on our 2010 Jeep Patriot we're going to be test fitting the Yakima RailGrab roof rack system. We're using the 48" round bars - those are part number Y00408 - and the Yakima RailGrab foot pack system. Its part number is Y00138. Now the RailGrab system is designed with a nice rubber protective cover here that allows that to grip onto the rail as the angled bracket portion comes in and what they call RailGrab or grabs around the rail to secure it. This also has a nice scratch-resistant finish to it so it's not going to do any damage to those side rails. Now we've already got the rear bar installed on the vehicle so we'll begin our test fit by placing the front bar up here onto the front roof line of the vehicle. Now as we install these we want to find a fixed point to use for reference. In our case Jeep was nice enough to put some little marks and arrows all the way down the length of the side rails here. more

Thule Roof Rack Review - 2010 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today on our 2010 Jeep Patriot we're going to be test fitting the Thule Crossroads roof rack system. We're using the 50" square bars - that part number is THLB50 - and the Crossroads foot pack system. That part number is TH450. Now we've already installed the rear bar so we'll go ahead and show you how the installation on the front bar works. To start we just place the roof rack up here on the front roof line of our vehicle. Now we need to find a fixed point to use for a measurement point or a point to where we're going to set our foot pack. On the Jeep here we've got some small notches that are in the side of the side rails as well as some arrows. more

Today on our 2015 Jeep Patriot we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Crossroads Roof Rack System. This is part number THLB50 for our crossbar and we're using TH450 for our foot packs. It's a really simple set up. Basically you'll take your TH450 or the Crossroads Roof Pack, we're going to slide it right down onto our square bar and then we'll place the cap right on the end. As far as that goes you're done. It's time to go to the car. We're going to place it up onto the roof line. more

Today on our 2015 Jeep Patriot we're going to be doing a test fit on the Thule Rapid Crossroads roof rack system. For the crossbars themselves we're using part number THARB47. The foot pack we have are part number TH450R. Now if you'll take a look here, installing the foot packs onto the bar is very simple. We just remove the cap that covers the end. With that off, got almost t-slot-style connector. This is going to slide in. more

Today on our 2010 Jeep Patriot we're going to be test-fitting the Thule Rapid Crossroads Roof Rack System. This is an up size. What our website calls for is the THARB47 AeroBlades. We're actually showing you that you can mount the THARB53's, which is what we're using now, and we're also using the TH450R foot pack. We've got the rear bar already installed onto our vehicle, so we'll place the front load bar up here onto the front portion of our roof. We need to find a fixed point to use for our measurements. Thule Roof Rack Review - 2010 Jeep Patriot THARB47- Video
Today, on our 2010 Jeep Patriot, we're going to be test-fitting the Thule Rapid Crossroads Roof Rack System. We're using the 47-inch arrow blades, that's part number THARB47, and the Rapid Crossroads Foot Pack, part number TH450R. We already installed the rear bar on the vehicle, so we want to finish up our install by showing you how this front bar is going to go on. To start, we're simply going to place it up here on the front roof line of the vehicle. We're going to bring the black rubber-coated metal straps around the underside. We need to do this on both sides, so our bar's sitting pretty square. Now, as we put this on our vehicle, we want to be sure that we have equal bar overhang on both sides, and that we're using a fixed point. In our case, Jeeps have a couple notches here, as well as an arrow. more

Thule AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today, one our 2013 Jeep Patriot, we'll be test fitting the Thule Aeroblade Edge roof system for raised factory side rails using part numbers TH7502-TH7502. Now, according to the included instructions, we already went ahead and installed the rubber coated straps. We'll be using slot number three to be hooked to the tab on the inside end of each bar. We'll begin our test fit by placing the front load bar onto the front of our roof. Now, here on the raised rails of our Jeep are indication arrows to help us when selecting the position of the front bar. I'm just going to position the bar right over the indication arrow just to make sure that the front bar is perpendicular to the roof. Then, at a 45 degree angle, we'll be able to position the rubber coated strap to go around the other side of the raised rail making sure the pad of the bar fits nicely onto the rail. more

Today on our 2014 Jeep Patriot, we'll be test-fitting the Thule AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack System using two of part number TH7502. With the roof rack assembled according to the manufacturer's instructions, we'll begin our test fit by placing the front half of the rack onto our side bars. When installing our bars, we want to be sure that we're using a fixed point to measure from or set our bars at. On the Patriot, there are arrows on the side of the side rail. We'll use these for our reference. This will make sure that our feet are even. more

Whispbar Flush Bar Roof Rack Installation - 2014 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today on our 2014 Jeep Patriot, we'll be test fitting the Whispbar Flush Bar Roof Rack using Part Numbers WV-S6 and WV-K328. With the roof rack assembled according to the manufacturer's instructions, we'll begin our test fit by placing the front half of our rack onto the front of our load bars to make sure that our rail sits between the two lips of the clamp and make sure that our clamp goes around our side rails on both sides. We'll want to find a fixed point to use as reference. In our case there's an arrow here that we're going to use. We'll do this on both sides to make sure that our feet are in line with each other. We can then take the provided Allen key and tighten down the Allen screws on both sides securing our rack to our side rails. Now we're ready to move to the rear. more

Thule Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today, on our 2013 Jeep Patriot, well be test fitting the Thule Square Bar Roof Racking System, Part Numbers THLB50 and TH450.Now, before we begin our test fit, well first going to make sure that our feet are on our load bars. Well then place the front load bar on to the front of the raised side rails of our vehicle. Now, on this particular model, there are arrows indicating where the feet should rest on the raised side rails of the vehicle.Well measure from a fixed point on the first part of the raised side rail to the first part of the feet just to double check to make sure that its even on both sides of the vehicle. Once weve established this position on to the vehicle, we can bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the under side of our raised side rails and hook them back into position.We can then pull out the allen key to tighten down the allen bolts to secure the front load bar to the front of the vehicle. Well now place our rear load bar on to the rear of the vehicle. Again, there is an arrow on the raised side rails on this particular model indicating where the rear load bar should rest.Well then bring the rubber-coated steel straps around the under side of the raised side rails and hook them into position. more

Thule Crossroad Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Jeep Patriot TH45050- Video
Today on our 2013 Jeep Patriot well be test fit in the Thule Complete Crossroad Kit with 50 inch Long Bars and Locks part number TH45050. Well begin our test fit by placing the frontload bar on to the roof of our vehicle. Now, there are cut outs in to the raised side rails of our Patriot indicating spots to set your load bar. Once our load bar is placed on to the specific cut out well double check and make sure on the passenger and driver side that the load bar is perpendicular to the rear side rails. Well then pull out the in caps to bring the rubber coated steel straps around the underside of the raised side rails. Well hook them back in to the bracket tightening them down with the Allen bolts until the strap is tight around the raised side rail. more

Rola Sport Series Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today on our 2013 Jeep Patriot we'll be test fitting the Rola Sport Series Roof Rack with RBU Mounting System Raised Factory Side Rails 51 Inches in Length, part number 59899. We'll begin our test fit by loosening up the T-handles at the ends of the brackets and place the crossbar onto the vehicle's raised side rails.Now on this vehicle there are arrows and notches cut into the raised side rails of the Patriot to assist you in setting your crossbars onto your raised side rails. We'll pick a location on the raised side rail to place our crossbar down onto. Once we've established this position we can then turn the black T-handles to tighten down the claws against the raised side rails.We'll then push them in and lock them into position. We'll then place our rear crossbar onto the rear of our raised side rails and measure the crossbar spread. The crossbar spread is the measurement from the center of the front crossbar to the center of the rear crossbar. more

Rhino Rack SXB Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Jeep Patriot- Video
Today, on our 2013 Jeep Patriot well be test fitting the Rhino-Rack SXB Roof Rack for raised factory side rails in silver, part number sxb3-silv. Well begin our test fit by placing the front crossbar onto the front of our roof. You can notice that there are special cut outs into our raised side rails for ease of installation with your crossbars. Once weve established this position onto the raised side rails of our Patriot we can then pull off the locking end caps to expose the silver bolt on the inside. We will use the included Allen key to tighten down the bolt to pinch the claws up against the raised side rails. We will then repeat these steps for the other side.We will now set our rear crossbar onto the rear of our roof. more

Today on our 2013 Jeep Patriot, well be test fitting the rhino rack SXB roof rack for raised factory side rails 45 inches in length, part number SXB3. And well begin our test fit by placing the front crossbar onto the roof of our vehicle. Now on this vehicle there are notches cut out into the factory raised side rails to let you know where to set your crossbar or you can measure from a fixed point on the raised side rail to the first part of the claw on our rhino rack. We can do this from both the passenger and drivers side of the vehicle ensuring the crossbar is perpendicular to the raised side rows of our Patriot. Once weve established this position we can unlock the end caps exposing the bolt which well use the included Allen key to tighten down to secure the jaws to the raised side rails. Well then repeat these steps for the other side. more

Since this set is designed to work with vehicles of factory way side rails, there are no set positioning measurements.Well set the first bar up on top of our way side rails. We need to make sure that the front bar is running perpendicular to our way side rails, so in order to do this we can line it up with the marked indicators that are on the side rails of our Jeep Patriot. Once weve done that, well fit our rubber coated steel straps around the side rails and tighten them down with the included tool. more

Alright, today on this 2012 Jeep Patriot, we're going to do a test fit of the Thule Roof Rack System. We'll be using the Thule Rapid Crossroads Foot Pack with the Thule AeroBlade Load Bars. Our Jeep has rails already in place in the factory so all we could do is add our load bars to it. We're going to start off with our load bars already assembled according to instructions and we'll go ahead and place them on the rails. We'll start off with the first crossbar going towards the front. We'll put it into place and then we'll go ahead and make sure it's square, and then we'll loosely install the straps to go around the factory rails and to the clips on the other side. more
